Shana Burtle has been writing since she was able to hold a crayon or pencil. Books, movies and music have always inspired her sense of romance and destiny. A love of the details of what makes people's minds work, and how relationships intertwine and interconnect the lives of others. Blending philosophy, psychology, faith, spirituality and reality in her characters and themes, she explores the theme of "oneness" in all of life. A fascination with nature, both human and earth/animal, drives each narrative. She resides in the suburbs of Raleigh, North Carolina, with her family and several cats, but her heart is among the flowers and insects.
